April 18th, ---- New Members ride to …… Yesterday’s….. Closed Event

Leave dealer at 5:30 pm. Head to Chloride along Route 93 and have dinner and meet with new as well as old members for chow while you chat about rides or events you have done or would like to do. Come on out and meet the new members and talk up the fun,  show off that new chrome piece or look see that new chrome piece on a bike to help with the decision. 

 

April 25th  thru 29th, …………The Laughlin River Run……FYI

The big one for the West Coast is back and promises to be bigger and better than ever. Stop by Mother Road H-D for all your clothing needs or just stop by to listen to some great live music and refreshments.

Mother Road HOG Members, volunteers are needed at the dealer from 11: am to 12:00 noon on Friday April 27th to help with the Poker Run, if you can help please contact either the Assistant Director or the Editor.

 

May 3rd, ………… Arizona State H.O.G. Rally …….FYI

We head for the great city of Tucson for a new venue this year. New rides, new hotels, new experiences and hopefully some new participants will great HOG riders from around the state for the annual HOG Rally. Find all the details at www.azstatehogrally.com

Mother Road Members, we a have scheduled a ride to Tucson and if you are going to attend the AZ State HOG Rally we will have riders leaving the Dealer at 7:30am SHARP and will travel to Terrible’s (Junction of I-95 & I-40) to meet with riders from BHC that will meet at Safeway in Fort Mohave and leave at 7:30am SHARP and arrive at (Junction of I-95 & I-40) by 8:30am. We then leave for LHC to pick up Riders that meet at Wal-Mart in LHC by 9:00am. We all will then head out down RT 95 south for Tucson. For more details please visit www.hawgsofmotherrooad.com. This ride to Tucson will be a Closed Event.

May 5th, ………… Fun Run Ride to Seligman …….. Closed Event

For those Members that are not going to be at the AZ State HOG Rally, we have the Fun Run to Seligman. This is a ride to see all the Hot Rods and Classics that participate in the "Annual Route 66 Fun Run.” put on by Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona.  First held in 1988, the Fun Run has attracted people from all over the U.S. and many foreign countries. 

Rider will leave the dealer at 8:00am and ride to Seligman to see the cars leave. We then and have lunch and return to Kingman taking the same route as the cars, Historic Rt66.

 

May 12th, ……….. Customer Appreciation BBQ 11:00am to 1:00pm, Hosted by Mother Road Chapter 1061 ----FYI

Lake Havasu riders should be at the Home Depot and leave at 10 am for Kingman.

Bullhead riders should be at the Home Depot in bullhead and leave at 10 am. We will have a Road Captain at these locations and ride as a group to the BBQ. Volunteers are needed to help at the barbecue, if you can help please reply to the e-mail that will be sent out in advance of the barbecue on or about May 7th.

 

May 16th, ………… New Members Ride to Chuy’s in Lake Havasu……Closed Event

Riders will leave dealer at 5:30 pm ----BHC riders will meet at Safeway in Fort Mohave 5:30pm and head to Lake Havasu at 5:30 PM to meet with LHC riders at the Chuy’s  in LHC for dinner at 7 PM.

 

May 19th, Horseshoe practice and games at Chuy’s in Lake Havasu City.…Closed Event (Officers please see note.)

We need to practice for Horseshoe Tournament in Bellemont. BHC riders will meet at Safeway in Fort Mohave at 10:00am and leave to meet with riders arriving  at Terrible’s (Junction of I-95 & I-40) at 10:45am.

Kingman & Golden Valley Riders will leave the dealer at 10:00 am and meet with BHC riders at Terrible's (Junction of I-95 & I-40) at 10:45 am. Then it's off to meet in LHC at Chuy’s for Horseshoe games and lunch.

 Note: Officers meeting will be held at Chuy’s 10:00am to 11:00 am, prior to arrival of general membership.

 Remember to volunteer at the AZ State Rally & pick up your HOG pin at The River Run too!

The Harley Owners Group will have its pin stop at the Laughlin River Run in April again this year and as a Local Chapter we participate at this pin stop. So be sure to stop in and pick up your HOG Pin. Also talk with one of our Mother Road Members at this stop  and ask questions about how to volunteer for the pin stop in 2008. You get to meet and talk with bikers from all around  the country when you volunteer for sign-ins and pin stops.

Also see May 3rd, Arizona State Rally to be held in Tucson this year. Please join us on the ride and at the Rally, volunteer at the Rally for one of the events or the Sign In and our Chapter gets Chapter Participation Points.
